Artichoke Cheese Squares
- One 9 oz pkg frozen, thawed or one 14 oz can rinsed and drained artichoke hearts, chopped
- 1/2 Pkg (6 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup seasoned salt-free bread crumbs
- 2 tbs minced fresh or 1 tbs dried parsley
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp dried oregano
- Dash hot-pepper sauce
Preheat oven to 325F. Spray 8 inch-square glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. In large bowl, combine artichoke hearts, cheese, onion, garlic, broad crumbs and parsley. In small bowl, beat together remaining ingredients until frothy. Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients until well blended. Spoon into prepared baking dish and bake 30 to 40 minutes or until golden. Cool slightly; cut into 36 pieces. Serve warm.
