Creole Pizza Canapes
- 1 pound hot sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 3/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp Konriko Creole Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1-1/2 cups (6 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6-8 Konriko Original Brown Rice Cakes
Toppings:
Crumbled bacon, sliced black olives, chopped green pepper, sliced mushrooms.
Combine first 7 ingredients in a saucepan; simmer ten minutes. Spread hot mixture on rice cakes; top with cheese. Sprinkle with one or more toppings. Broil two to four minutes, or until cheese is melted.
