Tater Tot Casserole

1 pound ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 small onion, chopped
One 32-ounce frozen tater tots
Sliced onion rings
1 small bell pepper, chopped
1 can mushrooms, drained (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Dash of red pepper to taste

Preheat oven 350 F. Season round meat with salt, black pepper and red pepper. Cook ground onion and half of until meat is brown. Drain. Stir in mushroom soup. Pour into lightly greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Top with sliced onion rings, remaining bell pepper, mushrooms and can of chicken soup. Spread tater tots on top of casserole, completely covering the mixture. Bake 1-1/2 hours or until bubbly and tater tots are cooked. Serve hot.
