Apple Cake V

2 cups sugar

3 eggs

1-1/2 cups oil.

1 teaspoon Vanilla

3 cups flour

1 teaspoon soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon

3 cups apples, chopped

1 cup pecans, chopped

Glaze for Apple Cake:

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/8 lb butter or magarine

1 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon soda

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla. Add chopped apple and pecans and mix well. Pour into sprayed 9 x 13 inch Pyrex pan.

Instructions for glaze:
Mix buttermilk, butter and sugar. Bring to boil. Add soda and stir. Mixture will foam. Pour immediately onto hot cake.
