Strawberry Shortcake 1

1 box yellow cake mix
1-1/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
One 16-ounce package frozen strawberries in syrup
One 16-ounce package Cool Whip

Preheat oven to 350F. Blend cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees F. Let cake cool. Thaw strawberries, pour over cooled cake. Punch holes in cake with a straw for strawberry juice to seep through cake. Refrigerate, and before serving top with thawed Cool Whip.

Serves 15.
