Fruit Pizza 3

Dough:
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons almond extract
Garnish:
12 ounces pineapple, sliced and drained (for garnish)
12 ounces peaches, sliced and drained
12 ounces pears, sliced and drained
Icing:
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup orange juice
1 cup water

Preheat oven to 350F. Butter pizza pan. In a bowl, using a fork, blend all dough ingredients, Spread dough evenly by hand in pan. Bake 15-20 minutes, and remove from oven. Let stand to cool. Place fruit on cooked, cooled dough, beginning in the middle with sliced pineapple, followed by peach slices then pear slices. Top with cherries and set aside.

Icing:
In a saucepan, heat orange juice and sugar. In a bowl, dissolve cornstarch in 1 tablespoon orange juice. Add dissolved cornstarch, and simmer a few minutes. Pour hot liquid over fruit. Refrigerate a few hours before serving. Serve chilled.
