Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix first four ingredients into a soft dough and roll out into a thin rectangle. Drain can of pineapple dry, reserving juice. Mix pineapple 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup melted butter and spread onto dough jelly roll style. Roll into a roll and cut 1 inch slices. Place these slices into a 9 x l3 inch baking dish into which has been put the pineapple juice, 1/2 cup water, and 2/3 cup sugar. Bake in a 350 F oven 30-45 minutes or until the slices are browned on top. Serve hot.
