Pecan Pralines 1

2 cups sugar
One 8-ounce can Pet milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups pecans
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine sugar, Pet milk, butter, pecans, salt, and vanilla in pot. Cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils. Cook gently, stirring until soft-ball stage. When tested in cold water, remove from heat. Keep stirring until mixture thickens and becomes glossy. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
