Bread Pudding 8

1 loaf white bread, torn into pieces
6 large eggs
1-1/2 cups had and half
1- 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 stick melted butter (1/4 lb)
1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350F fill a 9 inch square pan with bread. Spray pan with cooking spray before adding bread. Mix eggs, half and half, milk, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon together Pour over broad. Refrigerate overnight.

On the next day, mix butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and pecans together. Spread over bread. Bake 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Top with syrup or rum sauce if desired.
