Anisette
- 2 lb sugar
- 4 large glasses of water
- 1 large glass of whiskey
- 16 drops anise oil
- 22 drops of orange water
- Few drops red food coloring
Put sugar and water in pot on a slow fire until sugar is dissolved. Let cool, then add whiskey and flavorings and coloring. Let age.
Yield: 2 quarts
