Chicken and Sausage Stroganoff

1/8 lb butter
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped cup bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon cayenne
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 pounds boneless chicken (diced)
Season-All, to taste
1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced
One 10-ounce can cream of mushroomsoup
1 pint sour cream
16 ounces wide egg noodles

Melt butter in large pot. Add onions, garlic, bell pepper and green onions. Saute until onions are clear. Add cayenne pepper, salt, chicken and sausage. Cook until chicken is browned. Add cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and a quart of water. Cook over medium heat until chicken is tender. Add egg noodles and more water. Bring to a boil. Cook until noodles are done. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
