Bolognese
- 1 recipe of Meat Sauce
- 6 green onions. with tops, chopped
- 8 oz pkg of noodles, cooked and drained
- Two 3 oz pkg of cream cheese, softened
- One 8 oz carton of sour cream
- 1-1/2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
Lightly grease 3 quart deep casserole or two 1-1/2 quart dishes. Preheat oven to 350F. Mix onions with cream cheese and sour cream.
Put 1/2 noodles in bottom of casserole and spread with 1/2 onion mixture and 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat layers top with cheddar cheese and bake at 350F for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Meat Sauce:
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 12-1/2 or 15 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
- 2 tbs of red wine
- 1 tbs Parmesan cheese
Brown meat in skillet, add rest of ingredients. Simmer for 1/2 hour.
