Cowboy Stew 2

6 slices bacon
1 cup sliced onions
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic
1-1/2 lb ground beef
Two 1 lb can tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbs chili powder
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
2 cups cubed potatoes

Cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towel, crumble. Saute onions, green pepper and garlic in bacon drippings. Add ground meat. Cook until brown. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and chili powder. Cover. Simmer 30 minutes. Add corn and potatoes. Simmer about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with bacon.
