Broccoli Salad I
- 1 bunch of fresh broccoli, cut up
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 cup sunflower kernels
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
- Dressing:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
Mix salad ingredients together.
Pour dressing over salad and mix well. This can be served immediately, but it's recommended to let the dressing marinade for about an hour on the salad. Afterwards, add crumbled bacon on top.
