Favorite Yummy Potatoes

2 lb bag southern style hash browns, thawed
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup, un-diluted
1 pint sour cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 cups shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Place in 9x13 inch baking pan.

Topping:
Combine 1/4 cup melted butter and two cups corn flakes. Spread on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
