Creole Seasoning

One 26 oz box salt

One 2 oz can black pepper

One 1-1/2 oz can chili powder

One 1-1/2 oz can red pepper

One 1 oz can garlic powder

Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Store in airtight containers. Use as a seasoning in Creole recipes, tried chicken, or gravies.

Yields about 4 cups
