Green Vegetable Sauce

18 oz pkg cream cheese
2 egg yolks
2 tbs lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
Dash of white pepper

Soften cream cheese until creamy. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add lemon juice and salt; mix thoroughly. Place in a covered saucepan and heat on lowest heat for 20 minutes. Turn to a slightly higher heat and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Yield: 6 servings.
