Honey Nut Dressing
- 1-1/2 cup each chopped onions and celery
- 2 tbs butter or margarine
- 6 cups cooked rice, cooked in a chicken broth
- 1 cup raisins
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbs lemon juice
- 1-1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp each ground cinnamon and black pepper
- 1/4 cup snipped parsley, optional
In large skillet cook onions and celery in butter until tender crisp. Stir in remaining ingredients. Turn into buttered 2-1/2 to 3 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350F for 35 minutes, or until heated through. Garnish with border of parsley.
