New Orleans Barbecue Sauce
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2/3 cup orange juice
- 1 tbs orange peel, grated
- 1 cup basic barbecue sauce
- Tbsp molasses
Blend cornstarch and bourbon until smooth. Combine with all remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook and stir over moderate heat until sauce bolls; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
