Oil and Vinegar Dressing
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbs wine vinegar
- 2 tbs lemon juice
- 2 tbs corn oil
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp basil, tarragon, or dill or any herb you prefer
Add all ingredients except the herb to saucepan. Simmer over moderate heat until mixture thickens. Cool. Add herb. Store in covered jar in refrigerator.
