Steamed Crabs

Put water two fingers high in a large pot, then a layer of clean, washed crabs, then layer of cut onions, lemons, garlic, then salt and pepper, next a layer of unpeeled Irish potatoes. Again a layer of crabs and repeat layers until pot is full. Put on cover and let crabs steam. When claw of crab is firm and flaky when cracked, crabs are ready for eating. Potatoes steamed with crabs are delicious.
