Stove temperature: low heat
Clean shrimp with cold water. In a skillet, saute bell pepper, onion and seasonings in butter until tender. Add sausage and cook, stirring constantly, on low beat for 15 minutes. Add shrimp and cook stirring constantly on low heat for 10 minutes. Add smothered okra and simmer, stirring constantly on low heat for 15 minutes.
Serving instructions: May serve over hot rice or eat by itself.
