Shrimp Stew 3

4 tablespoons oil
6 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, diced
1/2 cup celery, chopped
8 ounces tomato sauce
3 cps water
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard or 1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon red Tabasco
1 pound shrimp, cleaned

In large skillet heat oil on medium heat, adding flour while constantly stirring until mixture is smooth and golden brown.

Add onion, bell pepper, garlic and celery. Cook until vegetables are soft. Reduce heat and add tomato sauce, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes.

Add water, mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Then simmer about 20 minutes. Add shrimp and cover pan and simmer about 20 minutes. Serve over rice.

Serves 3 or 4.
