Artichoke Dressing

1 large can artichoke hearts, sliced (reserve water)
3 cups bread crumbs (1-1/2 plain and 1-1/2 seasoned)
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup Romano or Romano and
Cheddar, grated
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix all ingredients except water from artichokes (mix oil to water) alternate in layers in l0 x 13 inch pan, starting with bread crumbs artichoke hearts, ending with bread crumbs on top layer. Pour water from can and olive oil on all layers. Bake 30-45 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
