Oriental Pancakes with Chinese Sauce

3 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 tsp celery seed
2 cups cooked brown rice
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbs soy sauce
8 eggs, beaten
Chinese Sauce*

Combine cabbage, onions, celery seed, and rice. Add salt, pepper and soy sauce to beaten eggs. Stir into cabbage mixture. For each pancake pour 1/3 cup mixture on a lightly greased griddle. Cook until brown on each side. Serve with Chinese Sauce.

Makes 15 pancakes (3 per serving).

Chinese Sauce:
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
1 tbs cornstarch
1 tbs soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together chicken broth and cornstarch. Cook until thickened. Stir in soy sauce and seasonings.
