Pork Chop Casserole 4

4 Loin Pork Chops
To Taste Salt
To Taste Pepper
4 tbs Uncooked Rice
4 Canned Tomato
2 tbs Shortening
1 lrg Sliced Green Pepper
1 lrg Sliced Onion
1/2 cup Boiling Water

*** Season pork chops with salt, pepper and coat with flour. Brown in hot shortening. Place in deep casserole. Place one green pepper slice on each chop with 1 tbs rice in each ring. Top with tomato and slice of onion. Add water and bake, covered, in 350F oven 45 minutes.
