Cabbage Casserole 7

2 lbs. ground meat
1 large onion
1 medium bell pepper
2 small cans tomato sauce
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 medium head of cabbage
1-3/4 cups of raw rice
Parmesan cheese

Brown ground meat. Add onions and bell peppers. Cook until vegetables are soft. Drain, grease and season mixture to taste. Add Rotel and tomato sauce in the mixture and cook for about 45 minutes on medium heat. Separate and wash the leaves of the cabbage. After the meat and tomatoes are cooked, stir in rice. In a deep casserole dish, layer cabbage leaves and mixture (starting and ending with cabbage) until you've used it all. Cover dish and bake for one hour at 350F. Then remove dish and top with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Bake until bread crumbs are slightly brown (about 15-20 minutes).
