Yellow Squash Casserole 2

1/4 cup margarine, melted
1 pound squash, sliced
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon pimiento, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup mild cheese, shredded

Pour melted margarine into 1-1/2 quart casserole. Add squash, salt and pepper. Combine egg, mayonnaise, green pepper, onion, sugar, and pimiento. Mix well. Pour over squash. Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
