Apricot Fudge Bars

3 cup Sugar
1-1/2 cups Milk
3/4 tsp Salt
3 tbs Butter
2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Chopped Dried Apricot
1/2 cup Creme Marshmallow
1/3 cup Chopped Pecan

*** Grease sides of a 3 quart saucepan. Mix sugar, milk and salt in sauce pan. Stir and heat till sugar dissolves and mixture boils. Cook, without stirring, to soft boil stage (238F), stir in butter and vanilla. Place in pan of cold water and cool to lukewarm without stirring. Add apricots and beat till mixture holds shape. Stir in marshmallow creme and pecans. Beat till glossy. Spread fudge into greased 9 inch square pan. Let fudge set.

Yield: Cut Into 32 Bars.
