Cobbler Fruit

3 cups Fresh Fruit
1 tbs Cornstarch
3/4 cups Water
1/4 cup Sugar
1/2 of Shortcake Recipe (Below)
2 tbs Cold Water
2 cups Biscuit Mix
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup Melted Butter
2 tbs Sugar

*** Heat fruit liquid, blend in cornstarch mixture of cornstarch and 2 tbs cold water and boil for 1 minute. Pour into 2 quart baking dish lined with dough. Dot with butter and cover with strips of dough. Bake @ 400F for 20 minutes.

Yield: 4 Servings

Shortcake Recipe
2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup Melted Butter

*** Mix with fork to a soft dough. Beat vigorously 20 strokes. Roll 1/2 inch thick may add 2 tbs sugar if desired.
