Chocolate Banana Sherbet

2 med. size ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)
1 cup apricot nectar, peach or pineapple juice, divided
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. sugar
1 cup milk

Slice bananas into blender container or food processor. Add 3/4 cup fruit juice; blended until smooth. In small microwave safe bowl combine chocolate chips, remaining fruit juice and sugar. Microwave at high (100%) 45 seconds. Whisk until chips are melted and mixture is smooth; add to mixture in blender. Blend until thoroughly combined. Add milk; blend until smooth. Pour into square pan, 9x9x2 inches or two ice cube trays; freeze until hard around edges. Spoon mixture into large mixer bowl or food processor; process until smooth. Return to freezer; freeze about 2 hours; stir to break up ice crystals. Cover; freeze until firm. To serve, scoop into dessert dishes.

About eight 1/2 cup servings.
