Strawberry Pie 2

Pillsbury's All-Ready Pie crust
2 cup water
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup corn starch
2 cup sugar
1/2 cup clear Karo syrup
1 pint fresh strawberries, chopped
1 box strawberry Jell-O
Cool Whip

Preheat oven to 350F. Bake pie crust according to package directions and cool. In heavy sauce pan combine salt, sugar, corn starch, sugar, syrup and water. Cook over medium-high heat until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in the box of Jell-O mix. Add strawberries and pour into pie shell. Chill until set. To serve top each slice with a big spoon Cool Whip.
