Swiss Fudge Glaze

1 cup whipping cream
8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
12-15 miniature Oreo cookies

Scald cream in heavy, medium saucepan over high heat. Add chocolate and vanilla. Stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir until all chocolate melts. Refrigerate 10 minutes. Set cake on platter and remove spring form, pour glaze over cake. Arrange cookies side down around outer edge of cake and refrigerate.
