Sweet Heart Cherry Bars

Crust:
2 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup margarine
Filling:
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
One 10-ounce jar Maraschino cherries drained and chopped, reserving juice
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Frosting Glaze:
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
1-1/2 tablespoons reserved cherry juice
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon white vanilla
6 tablespoons flaked coconut (sprinkled after frosting spread)

Utensils: 9 x 13 inch baking pan

Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl combine first three ingredients. Blend until crumbly. Press mixture into ungreased pan. Bake at 350F, 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. In small bowl, combine all filling ingredients. Mix well. Pour over crust. Bake 350F for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and frost with glaze. Mix and spread frosting glaze over slightly cooled bars. Sprinkle coconut over frosting.
