Brownies 2

Pudding Sauce:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1-1/2 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
2 large eggs, beaten
1/3 cup milk
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F. In a sauce pan combine sauce ingredients and keep warm. In a mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, and cocoa. In a small bowl, combine egg, milk, butter and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and stir until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Pour warm sauce over cake batter. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until cake is firm and floats in sauce. Let rest 10 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
