Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Let cake cool 10 to 15 minutes. Make pencil-sized holes evenly spaced throughout cake. Mix condensed milk and cream of coconut together well. Pour over cake filling in holes. Spread Cool Whip over entire cake. Sprinkle coconut on top of Cool Whip to cover cake well.
