Feud Cake

6 large eggs, separated
1-1/2 cups sugar
2-1/2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3-1/2 cups pecan meal (ground pecans)

Preheat oven to 350F. Beat egg yolks together. Gradually add the sugar; add flour and baking powder, mixing well. Add pecan meal. This mixture will be very stiff. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into pecan meal mixture until well blended. Pour into 3 greased and floured 8 inch pans and bake in pre-heated oven for 30 minutes. Let cool and frost with whipped cream.
