Praline Bars

1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1-1/2 cups dark brown sugar
3 eggs beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
Praline frosting:
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cream
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup chopped pecans

Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Melt butter, then add remainder of ingredients. Mix well and spread in a 13 x 9 inch pan that has been buttered and floured. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes, then spread with frosting while hot.

Frosting:
Melt butter, add remainder of ingredients and mix well. Spread over warm cake, then cut into bars.

Serves 15.
