Healthy Blueberry Muffins

1/4 cup Canola oil
3/4 cups light brown sugar
1 cup unbleached white flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 egg
1/3 cup oat bran flour
1/3 cup oat meal (not instant)
1/3 cup wheat germ
1-1/4 to 1-3/4 cups fresh blueberries

Preheat oven to 400F. In large mixing bowl, combine oil, sugar, flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix well. Add buttermilk, egg, oat bran, flour, oatmeal and wheat germ. Mix lightly with wooden spoon to moisten. Stir in blueberries. Fill paper-lined muffin tins three-fourths full. Bake 400F for 20 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove muffins from tins and cool on wire racks. Muffins will be moist.
