Mandarin Orange Cake 1

2 cups cake flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
Two 11-ounce cans Mandarin orange slices, drained
Glaze:
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons milk or half and halt
Cool Whip or fee cream, optional

Put all ingredients in large bowl and mix well by hand. Bake 35-40 minutes. Prick cake with fork while hot and pour glaze on top and spread evenly.

Glaze:
Put all ingredients in pain. Bring to boil and stir to mix well. Pour over hot cake. Top servings with Cool Whip or ice cream if desired.

Serves 12.
