Rum Cake

1 box golden cake mix
1 box vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
1-1/2 cup 80 proof rum
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 stick butter (1/4 lb)
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1-ounce 80-proof rum

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour one sheet cake pan. Place pecans in bottom of pan. Mix remaining cake ingredients 2 minutes. Pour batter over pecans. Bake 1 hour, cool and top with glaze.

Boil butter, water and sugar 1 minute, Add rum. Boil 1 minute more. Pour over cake.
