Preheat oven to 350F. Blend cookie or Graham cracker crumbs with butter or margarine. Pour into ungreased springform pan. Press against bottom arid sides of pan. Set aside. Beat softened cream cheese with mixer until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well. Add vanilla. Pour three fourths of batter into prepared crust. Mix cocoa powder into remaining batter until smooth. Pour chocolate batter into crust. Use a knife to cut/mix batters to cause a swirl effect. Bake at 350F for 1-1/2 hours. When cool, top with half of caramel, chocolate chips, and pecans. Chill 4 hours or over night. Add remaining caramel and chill.
