Flaky Pie Crust

3 cups flour (all purpose)
1/4 lb margarine
1/2 cup shortening
2 tbs water
1 tsp salt

Melt margarine (makes 1/2 cup) and shorting until it makes 1 cup. Add this to 3 cups of flour and salt. Mix well with your hands. Add water, mix well, form to a ball. (An extra tablespoon of water may be needed if dough seems dry). Roll out dough to form pie shell.

Makes 1 pie shell
