Homemade Ice Cream 2

6 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 quart milk
2 tbs vanilla
3 cups cream
1 cup cream and
2 cans evaporated milk
1 tsp salt

Bring milk to a boil. Beat eggs, sugar and salt. Add eggs, sugar and salt to boiled milk. Cook mixture and stir constantly until thickened over low fire. Remove from heat and cool. Add cream mixture not beaten. Add vanilla. Put in ice cream maker and turn until ready.

Makes 1 gallon.
