Low Fat Brownies

3/4 cup of all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup reduced fat margarine
2 tbs water
6 oz semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 large egg whites

Preheat oven to 325F. Grease a 9 inch square baking pan. In a small bowl, mix together flour and baking soda. In a small sauce pan, combine sugar, butter, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove immediately from heat. Stir in all of chocolate chips and vanilla extract until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.

Transfer mixture to a medium bowl. Cool completely. Stir in egg whites one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually stir in flour mixture until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake until center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Transfer pan to wire rack, cool completely. Cut into squares.
