Milky Way Cake

8 Milky Way bars

1/2 lb margarine

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

2-1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp soda

1-1/4 cup buttermilk

1 cup chopped pecans, optional

Melt candy bars and 1/4 lb margarine. Set aside. Cream sugar and rest of margarine. Add eggs. Add alternately flour, soda with buttermilk. Add maned candy and margarine mixture. Add pecans. Bake in a tube pan at 325F for one hour and 10 minutes or until done. Frosting not necessary unless desired.
