Pecan Cocoons

2 cups sifted flour
1/2 lb butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsp water
2 tsp vanilla extras

Preheat oven to 325F. Mix all ingredients in bowl and chill for two hours. Shape into three inch, finger length strips or balls and bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 20 minutes. Slightly cooled, dust with confectioners sugar or roll in confectioners sugar.
