Pound Cake 2

1/2 lb butter (room temperature)
1-3/4 cups sugar
5 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp rum extract

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Fold in flour that has been sifted. Add extracts. Pour batter into a well greased and floured pan. Bake 1 hour at 350F or until done.

When done take out of oven and poke holes in cake and loosen sides. Pour glaze over cake in pan. Let cool about 30 minutes before removing from pan.

Glaze:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp rum extract
1 tsp lemon extract

Put on stove and bring to a boil. When glaze comes to a boil take off stove and pour over cake.
