Ritz Cracker Pie

3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
20 Ritz crackers, crushed
3/4 to 1 cup crushed pecans
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 pint cool whip

Beat eggs until foamy, sprinkle with baking powder and continue beating until stiff. Add sugar gradually. Beat until sugar dissolves. Add crackers, vanilla & pecans. Mix well. Pour into 9 inch buttered pie plate. Bake 35 minutes at 350F. Cool, serve with Cool Whip.
