Syrup Cake 2

2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup syrup (preferably cane syrup)
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup boiling water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans and/or raisins

Beat eggs well. Stir in sugar, cooking oil and syrup. Add flour and baking soda, water, vanilla and nuts. Mix well and pour into cake pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350F. Some ovens vary.
